# Twofold — Privacy Policy *Last updated: July 24, 2026* Lan Mu ("we", "us", or "our") operates the mobile game Twofold (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices regarding that information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below. ## 1. Information We Collect The App does not require you to create an account and does not ask you for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal contact information. The App uses the following third-party services provided by Google, which automatically collect limited technical and usage data: • Google Firebase Analytics — collects anonymous or pseudonymous usage data such as which screens are viewed, in-game actions (for example, games played and scores reached), session length, approximate region, device model, operating system version, language, and a mobile advertising identifier / app instance identifier. This helps us understand how players use the App and improve it. • Google Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports and diagnostic information (such as device state, operating system version, and the technical stack trace at the time of a crash) so we can find and fix bugs. • Google AdMob — the App shows advertisements (banners, full-screen ads, and optional rewarded videos). AdMob may use a device advertising identifier, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and limited device and usage information in order to select, deliver, and measure ads. Where required by law (for example in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland) we show a consent form before personalized ads are used; if you decline, you will still see ads but they will be non-personalized. • Google Play Games Services — used to provide achievements and leaderboards. If you sign in, this service processes your Play Games player identifier and related game progress (such as scores reached, achievements unlocked, and the number of games played) so that your progress is saved to your Google account and your score can be shown on leaderboards. Signing in is optional: if you do not sign in, achievements and leaderboards are simply unavailable and the rest of the App works normally. • Google Play Billing — used only if you choose to make an in-app purchase. Payment is processed entirely by Google. We never receive or store your payment card details; we receive only a purchase confirmation so the purchased item can be delivered to you. We do not collect the contents of your files, contacts, photos, location (GPS), microphone, or camera. ## 2. How We Use the Information We use the collected data only to: • operate, maintain, and improve the App; • understand gameplay trends and balance game difficulty; • diagnose crashes and fix technical problems; • display advertising, which is what keeps the App free to play; • provide achievements and leaderboards if you sign in to Google Play Games; • deliver items you have purchased. We do not sell your personal data. ## 3. Data Sharing The technical and usage data described above is processed by Google as our service provider, through Firebase, AdMob, Google Play Games Services, and Google Play Billing. If you sign in to Google Play Games, your public Play Games profile name and score may be visible to other players on leaderboards. You can learn how Google uses data at https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy. We may disclose information if required to do so by law. ## 4. Data Retention Analytics and crash data is retained according to the standard retention periods of the Firebase services and is used only for the purposes stated above. ## 5. Children's Privacy The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it. ## 6. Your Choices • You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device's system settings (Settings › Privacy / Google › Ads). • Where a consent form applies to you, you can change your advertising choices at any time from the App: Settings › Ad privacy options. • Achievements and leaderboards are optional. You can decline to sign in to Google Play Games, or sign out at any time from the Google Play Games app, and the rest of the App will keep working. • You can remove ads permanently through an in-app purchase. • You can stop all further data collection at any time by uninstalling the App. ## 7. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Significant changes may also be announced within the App. ## 8. Contact Us If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, contact us at: hellothessia@gmail.com
